GOODBYE DRAGON AND HELLO SNAKEY! GONG XI FA CAI!~

Hello. Hello.

I'm back updating this. Been having a blast this Chinese New Year. The last year until 09th Feb 2013 is the year of the Dragon. Starting on the 10th Feb, we have welcomed the year of the Snake. Celebrate the CNY at my uncles's Mother-in-law (MIL) place in Penampang where the family and friends gathered. Oh, and I took picture of the the 7 lions from the "1st Class" view. Hehehehe.

It's good to see my cousin, Matt and Sharil at the gathering. Met my cousin, Jay's girlfriend, Ann who is also a Paparian. Told she looks very, very familiar and she just chuckled and said it's on Facebook. I just smile. Then Hazel and Jayde is there. And the rest of my mum's siblings (except Uncle Mel and family as they were in Labuan that time). Ian and my 2 nieces, Jasmine and Jermaine got excited about the lion dance and can't wait for it.

By 16:30 pm, then comes the lion dance group. It's good to see the kids are fascinated with the lion dance performance because I know I still do and never fail to amaze me. Especially when they have to performed the jumps from one step to another and the last step which the high steps where the person who was at the tail have to jump fast on the steps to the last one and lift the person who is holding the head. Dude face was red due to adrenaline rush. Damn crazy boys.   The ladies were "melatah" and me and my cousins were like "Whoa!". Then the encore performance is lion dance and fire-crackers. As the last crackers stops and the dancers still dance, my cousin Jayde with his crazy idea, had thrown the second crackers near one of the dancers. "The lions" have to jump and dance at the same time. After that, the performance ends and everybody either continue to play cards or gone back to their respective homes.

By the end of the day, me, Ian and Jasmine are satisfied and happy with our "loots" which is our angpows red packets. Weeeeee!~
